Common Fan Failures

1. The fan shaft part is to ensure that there is lubricating oil, otherwise the fan blade cannot be dragged by the motive on it. If you are at home, you can choose to turn off the power and then toggle the blades, if the rotation is stiff, there is basically no lubricating oil.
2. Wear caused by long-term use. If a fan is used for a long time, the motor will be lost, and the shaft sleeve of the motor will be easily burned off after wear.
3. The fan caused by overheating does not rotate. There is a motor in the fan device, there will be an overheating circuit breaker in the motor, if the coil winding place short circuit, will make the heat increase in a short time, so that the motor will "strike" not moving.
4. The starting capacitor capacity becomes smaller. When the fan is used for a long time, the capacitance capacity will decrease, resulting in the motor starting torque becoming smaller and unable to drive the load.
5. Many times the reason why the fan blades do not rotate is the problem of poor maintenance. If the power is turned off and the blades are turned off and stiff, some lubricating oil should be dripped into the shaft so that it can be lubricated so that it will not affect the motor dragging the blades.
6. For the wind blades caused by wear do not rotate, the simplest is to replace parts, especially the shaft sleeve, if it is easy to burn off after wear.
7. If the capacitor capacity becomes smaller and the fan does not rotate, the capacitor can be removed and replaced with a new capacitor of the same model, it is recommended to choose 20% larger than the original capacitor, which will have a better rotation effect.
8. If the axial clearance of the shaft is too large, you can choose to adjust the gasket after disassembling the motor. However, remember that when installing the motor back, pay attention to the rotor must be concentric with the bearing, slowly twist the lubrication screw diagonally, and finally knock the shaft with a wooden handle to ensure that it is concentric.
9. If it is due to electrical failure, you can check the wiring of each line, sometimes the wire is damaged, etc., you can repair the problem.
